How we love the smell of new beginnings! Many will be encouraged already at the beginning of the year and start making changes – so some will buy an apartment, others will rent a new one, and still others will want to change their own home. We have some great tips before you go…
Decorating your home from the very beginning can give you a real headache, but the fact is that many will find themselves in a new home this year. Packing, storing and moving can be stressful, but with our advice it will be easier. So let’s start with the basics…

  1. BIG CLEANING

It’s time to eliminate the things you no longer use. Separate everything that is broken and that no longer has a purpose, and rehabilitate it in landfills or take it to recycling.

Store and organize what you take with you into the new year and into your new home – arrange seasonal things and those that you don’t use often in boxes. Be sure to write on the boxes what is in them so that they will be easier to find later.

  1. MEASURE THE SPACE

The meter is your ally! If you are changing furniture or want to arrange existing pieces in the interior, measure everything first. This will ultimately save you time and nerves if, for example, you were sure that the cabinet that bothers you in the living room will fit perfectly in the hallway.

  1. CHOOSE FURNITURE ACCORDING TO THE SIZE OF THE ROOM

Keep in mind that the furniture must be adapted to the dimensions of the room, this is the only way to achieve balance. As we have already advised – first measure everything and then arrange the schedule. What you still need to pay attention to are the passages between pieces of furniture to make it easier to move through the room.

  1. WALL PAINTING

Before you move into a new home, first paint the walls and install the wallpaper (of course, if it’s in the style plan), and clean the floors and all the remaining paint. Then it will be easier to bring in new furniture, and everything will be finished faster.

If this is not the case, then move the furniture away from the walls and protect all surfaces so that they have as little cleaning as possible.

  1. GOLDEN RULE – BASIC THINGS FIRST

If you are moving in for the first time and need to set everything up from scratch, then focus on the basic pieces of furniture first. Decorations will add warmth to the space, but add them gradually. Arrange your color palette and throw in key decorations that you love and that will also have a function.
